Blueskin Bay radio news for Friday Dec 11

Puketapu Radio presents Blueskin Bay local news in association with blueskin.co.nz

Tonight is the special late night Seacliff Market, on from 5 till 8pm. It is an excellent opportunity to buy locally made Christmas gifts or stock up on goodies for the holiday weekend. Buy bunches of fabulous peonies, take home special baked Christmas treats or buy hand-turned wooden toys for the children. Free stalls are available and kids’ stalls are welcome. The next market will be held on Sunday January 3.

On Monday, Gallery on Blueskin is holding a special Christmas thank you for loyal customers and friends. To celebrate, there will be

Christmas jazz in the courtyard from 6 - 8pm along with wine and cake.

Also working hard on Monday is local MP, Pete Hodgson. He’s holding his last community clinic of the year on Monday at the Blueskin library, Waitati at 2.30pm. He would be delighted to see any constituents wanting to wish him a merry Christmas.

Christmas carols can be heard and enjoyed at St Barnabas church, Warrington on Christmas Eve, at 9.45pm. This will be followed at 10am the next morning with a special Christmas Day service. All welcome.

This is the last Blueskin News for the year. We will be back in 2010. We wish everyone living in the Blueskin Bay area and all Puketapu Radio listeners a happy and safe holiday season.
