Kiaora! Blueskin Playcentre continues to happily chug along. We have
several new families and new babies. A recent grant has enabled us to
purchase some lovely new dress-ups and equipment for the family area
kitchen. We are trying to raise more funds for outdoor equipment to
replace our ancient Fort.

On a recent excursion we rode the bus through North East Valley to the
pet store. Three new fish rode home with us on the bus.

We continue to learn and grow in this lovely centre, exploring Spring
themes, growing seedlings, making bird feeders and working on a huge
'Where the wild things are' mural around the gym room walls.

It is the 50th year of Playcentre in our region. We are planning an
expo of lovely archival photographs of Playcentre through the decades.
It would be wonderful to tie this in with the community. If you have
photographs of old buildings, the Bay, the train, local events or
recent events that you would be prepared to display please phone
Mandy: 482 2752.

See you at Playcentre, Orokonui Rd, Waitati.
