No Council help in the pipeline to flush school toilets

Power cuts are a continual problem for Warrington School which is dependent on
the continuity of the power supply for heating and water.

"Toilets are especially problematic as our water is supplied via an
electric pump," school principal Nathan Parker told 'Blueskin News'.
"Last week we spoke to the DCC about the school giving direct access
to the [high-pressure mains] water supply in case of power cuts and
they were not willing to do so, stating if they did it for us they
would have to do it for all. If the power is off at school we would
appreciate it if children could remain at home until it comes back
on."
