NEWS: Warrington home invasion prompts security warning

A small Pakeha male in his 40s, calling himself "Alan", was discovered
standing at the end of an elderly lady's bed in her Warrington flat,
about 3.00am on Saturday 18 April. Upon being confronted he
immediately left, but not before identifying himself to the woman as
"Alan", Constable Jon-Paul Tremain of Waikouaiti Police told 'Blueskin
News'.

Police from Waikouaiti and Dunedin attended, including a police-dog handler.

"Unfortunately the intruder was not located." Jon said. "This is a
timely reminder to lock your doors and windows when going out or going
to bed."
