Blueskin Bay radio news for Friday April 3

Blueskin Bay radio news for Friday April 3

Puketapu Radio presents Blueskin Bay local news in association with blueskin.co.nz

The Blueskin A&P Clearing Sale is the main event in the bay this weekend. Starting at 10.30am at Bland Park, Waitati, there’ll be an auction from 11am, family fun all day, and car boot sales. A great place to pick up bargains, see what local residents are making, and enjoy a day out.

As part of the Clearing Sale the A&P Photography competition exhibition is on at the Waitati Hall until Monday April 6. You can view work by our talented local photographers from 10am until 4pm daily.

Sunday sees the return of the Seacliff market at Coast Rd, Seacliff. There’s a great range of plants, preserves, clothes, bric-a-brac and food. Open between 11am and 2pm.

The Blueskin Book Club meets at the Blueskin Café at 10am on Tuesday morning. New members are welcome to come along and join in the discussion and enjoy a coffee.

Also on Tuesday, the Youth Hall Committee AGM will be held in the Waitati Hall at 7.30pm. Everyone who has an interest in the future of
Blueskin Bay youth is invited to attend and support this meeting.

Later in the week, the Waikouaiti Community Board comes to Blueskin Bay. It meets at the Warrington Surf Club on Thursday at 5.30pm.

If any Waitati resident happens to spot a beautiful Russian blue cat in the vicinity of the library or Harvey St, please phone the library. Jayjay has only recently moved to Waitati and has got himself lost.

Blueskin News takes a break next week, as it will be Good Friday.
