ANZAC DAY SERVICE – Saturday 25 April 2009

The Blueskin Bay Anzac Day service will be held at the Waitati Hall
and Cenotaph at 10am on Anzac Day.

We acknowledge the death earlier this year of Mr David Symon,
Lieutenant, 2nd Engineering Field Company, WW2. David has laid the
Community wreath at our Cenotaph services over many years – we shall
miss his positive spirit and presence this Anzac Day.

Our local service is truly a community Remembrance and reflection
time. Many people combine their talents and time to ensure the
service is both community and reflective.

If you would like to help in any way… adult or child… setting up the
Hall, morning tea contributions, clearing up afterwards, scrubbing the
Cenotaph, making a wreath… please let contact me, and we'll sort a
place for you to "join the team". Most "jobs" happen on the day
before – the last Friday of the school holidays.
