Blueskin Bay radio news for Friday February 20

Blueskin Bay radio news for Friday February 20

Puketapu Radio presents Blueskin Bay local news in association with blueskin.co.nz

The prizegiving for the Blueskin Library’s Summer Reading Programme will be held at 4pm on Friday Feb 20, at the library in Waitati. Prizes and certificates will be award to each child who reached their summer reading goals.

A successful turnout of both buyers and sellers at the Waitati Edible Gardens Harvest Market last Sunday will ensure the event continues for the next few months.  The market will be held on the third Sunday of each month at the Old Waitati stores in Harvey St.

If you need an upgrade to your children’s toy supply, the Waitati Toy Library is open on Saturday morning from 10.30 until 11.30, and again on Monday evening between 6.30 and 7.30pm.

For a more reflective outing, St Barnabas hosts church services at Warrington on Sunday mornings at 11.30.

And if you’re looking for a new sport to take up this year, taekwando might be the answer. Classes are held each Monday and Wednesday night from 6 until 7.30 at the Warrington Hall. You may attend classes free for the first month.
