The Blueskin A&P Society’s annual general meeting is being held on Tuesday at 7.30pm. A new president, secretary and treasurer will all be elected and nominations are currently being accepted. The meeting will be held in the Waitati Hall.
Wednesday night will see the final meeting of the consultation phase with the local community of the Orokonui Eco-Sanctuary. It will also be a chance to hear about what’s been going on behind the fence this year, and for an end-of-year celebration of the sanctuary’s many successes in 2008. The meeting starts at 7.30pm.
Thursday is the last get-together of the year of the Blueskin Bay Craft Group. The group meets in the committee room of the Waitati Hall between 7 and 9pm.
If you want to keep your children entertained over the holidays, a visit to the toy library at Waitati may be in order. The toy library is open for the last time this year on Saturday from 10.30 to 11.30am, and again on Monday from 6.30 to 7.30pm. The library can be found in the Waitati Hall.
And for those keen on a bit of exercise, Tae Kwon Do is held at Warrington Hall on Monday and Wednesdays at 6pm. While over at Hawkesbury Village, the swimming club is back in action at the Moana Gow pool.
