Warrington School is selling packs of greeting cards as a school fundraiser. The designs are the children’s own artwork. Packs of six cards cost just $10 and are available from the office during school hours.


Waitati Film Society’s offering next Tuesday is The Moon over the Alley. This movie focuses on a small community of boarders in a rooming house in London’s Notting Hill. It will be shown at Bill’s Place, on the corner of Orokonui and Mt Cargill Roads at 8pm.


The Happy Hands Craft Group meets on Wednesday of next week at the Palmerston Community Centre. No matter what kind of craft you do, you’ll find a warm welcome awaits. Phone Lyne on 482 2822 for more details.


And, bookings are still being taken for stalls at the Waitati School Country Fair on Sunday December 7. The school is also looking for entertainers, books and items for white elephant tables. Phone the school for more information or to make a booking.
