Blueskin Bay radio news

Blueskin Bay radio news for Friday November 14

Puketapu Radio presents Blueskin Bay local news in association with blueskin.co.nz

The big event on the Blueskin Bay calendar next week is Two for the Road, a concert by Wayne Mason and Clinton Brown on Thursday night. The venue is the Waitati Hall and doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets are just $10.

Bookings are now being taken for the Waitati School Country Fair. This is being held on Sunday December 7 from 11am to 3pm. It costs just $15 to have a stall and the school is looking for entertainers for the day, plus books and items for white elephant tables.

The Waitati Toy Library has spent more than $2000 on new toys, games and puzzles recently. As a result the toy library is having a sale this Saturday from 10.30 until 11.30am, and again on Monday from 6.30 to 7.30pm. Existing and new members are all welcome to check out the new toys and the sale items.

Fancy a work out? Join the Tae Kwon Do group which meets at Warrington Hall on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-7.30pm.

More about these and other stories can be found on Blueskin Bay's local volunteer news website, blueskin.co.nz.
