WARRINGTON DOLPHIN SURVEY (column)

It is that time of year again when our lovely little friends the
Hector's Dolphins will be back in the surf at our local beaches. If
you see the dolphins could you please let me know?

I am especially interested in hearing about any dolphins you see that
have marks or nicks on their dorsal fin or body. I have photos of some
marked individuals from near Taiaroa Head (see the poster in the
middle of this Blueskin News edition) and I am keen to find out if
they are travelling along the coast or just hanging out at the heads.
Please email Jennie Upton: grimwoods @ hotmail . com
or phone 027 3307311 or 465 8318.
