Sustainable Living course in Seacliff

Start Date: Wednesday 15 October

Each Wednesday 7-9pm for 8 weeks

This interactive eight-week course will assist you to

a.. Learn and share practical tips that make a difference and can save you money

b.. Meet others in your community who are interested in living more sustainably

c.. Gain support for introducing lifestyle changes you want to make

Facilitated by Dr Maureen Howard,

Week 1: Introduction - Sustainability in the home. Making changes

Week 2: Energy - Efficiency and conservation, Renewables

Week 3: Waste - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Composting

Week 4: Shopping - Making better choices. Making your own cleaners

Week 5: Gardening - Attracting wildlife. Growing your own veggies.

Week 6: Water - Conservation, collection, reuse and keeping waterways clean

Week 7: Transport - Travelling more sustainably

Week 8: Final - Community Focus


All courses are free but a Koha/Donation is requested ($25-35 recommended)
