Uni students present a master plan for Waitati

University of Otago students will explain their 'Strategies for a
Resilient Waitati' at a public presentation as part of their Planning
courses. The presentations by Masters of Planning students will take
place at 6.30 – 8.30 pm on Monday 1 October at Waitati Hall, Harvey
St, Waitati.

The students will be presenting the results of six group projects,
where they have been asked to come up with a strategy to help the
Waitati community move towards greater resilience - including lower
energy consumption, local energy production, lower carbon emissions
and adaptation to climate change

Each group will have 10 minutes to present their concept, followed by
an opportunity for questions and discussion.
